How to finish off memory wire

It is quick and easy to finish off memory wire. There are basically two techniques. You can either make a loop at both ends of the wire or you can glue capping beads to the end.

Making a loop

The wire is hard to manipulate, so you need to use those extra muscles of yours! Grip the end of the wire with your round nose pliers and make a loop by moving your pliers away from you.

Using capping beads

You can use capping beads or any other beads that will fit your design. Mix a resin based adhesive well. Use a toothpick to put a small amount of glue inside the bead and at the end of the wire. Insert the bead onto the end of the wire. Make sure the end of the wire is not sticking out. Leave it to dry.
