Memory wire bracelet project:

Making a memory wire bracelet is a great beginners project. It’s quick, easy and fun to make. Memory wire looks like a spring with many coils. The more coils you use, the wider your bracelet will be. You will need a sufficient amount of beads for a wider bracelet. Bigger beads will be great if you prefer a chunky look. You can use any kind of beads for this bracelet in any color scheme.
What you need:
2 ½ to 3 coils of bracelet memory wire
beads
round nose pliers
memory wire cutters
Step 1:
Cut off 2½ to 3 coils of memory wire. Grip one end of the memory wire with the middle part of your round nose pliers.

Step 2:
Make a loop by moving your pliers away from you.

Your finished loop should look like this.

Step 3:
Slide the beads onto the other end of the wire, and continue to do so until there is approx. ½ inch (12mm) of wire left.

Step 4:
Make another loop, the same way as the first, with the ½ inch of wire that is left.

Step 5:
To add a headpin to the end of your bracelet, follow the steps for how to make a loop on a headpin as described on the page
Headpin loop.
Step 6:
It’s up to you how you want to finish your bracelet:
- leave it exactly as it is
- add a headpin to one, or both ends of the bracelet
- add a charm to the end of the bracelet
